Panerai has just launched a subtle but meaningful refresh of what most collectors consider their core modern collection: the Luminor Marina. They have improved the movement thickness, quality, finishing, and water resistance while shrinking the overall thickness by 12%. What We Think
There’s a lot to unpack with these new releases. As we wade through a lot of Watches and Wonders content, sometimes core releases like this can seem like a blur. And yet, as I read through the press release and filled in the specs for the story, I felt myself raising my eyebrows and going, “Check, Check, Check – oh wow, this seems really solid.”
The scaling back/downgrading of the predecessor’s P.9010 movement was objectively mishandled by perfect 2025 Panerai replica watches, no matter the rationale for why it was done. If you don’t know about that moment back in 2020, I will write more of a refresher at a later date. It’s hard not to see this as an effort to rebuild some goodwill with a strong release.
